Don’t Drink Alcohol … Bet

If you prefer to take a beer every so often, keep your cash at home if you plan to do your drinking in a brick and mortar casino. I am not joking. Empty your billfold, your wallet, and keep all money, bank cards and chequebooks at home. Take whatever cash you intend to spend on alcohol, tipping and whatever pocket change you intend to lose and keep the rest behind.
Cynical? Not really. Practical really. You might well experience a success after a drunken night out with your buddies and be fortunate enough to hit a marathon roll at a hot craps table. Hold on to that account because it’s as brief as it gets if you continually drink and wager. The two simply don’t mix.
Leaving your cash at home is a bit drastic, however, defensive actions for dramatic behavior is relative and necessary. If you compete to succeed, then don’t drink and wager. If you are able to manage to throw away your cash without a second thought, then drink all the free alcohol your stomach can hold, but don’t take bank cards and cheques to throw into the combination of going after losses after your drunken brain squanders everything!
